If you're new to this blog, you may not have met my little friend Bambi, (you can click her name to read the story) who lives with my very intelligent friend on the other coast. I thought to celebrate the lazy days of summer now kicking in to high gear, I'd introduce you to Bambi's brother, "Pumpkin." I'm actually not sure if Pumpkin is a boy or girl, but we'll just assume he is a he. His eyes look that way to me. I think Pumpkin has the right idea for spending an afternoon in the sunshine. Those silly birds don't need this bird bath.
And how about that finger? It reminds me of my mother. I'd say 75% of the photos she took had a cute little edge of "Mama's Touch" included. And I'm only pointing this out because Pumpkin's Mama is blond and we tease each other about our blondness (neither one of us is a natural blond, though. - ARE WE?).
On this lazy day, raise your glass of sweet tea and relax. Here's to summer!

I think there's actually a little "blonde" in all of us! :) I wonder if Louie and his family would be up to knocking Pumpkin off his perch?

Blessings and hugs!

Well I'm not a blonde unless you count white, but I'm embarrassed to say how many of my pictures turn out with a finger or too dark or too light or blurred or.... Thanks goodness for the new technology that lets us correct some of those things! Cute, cute Pumpkin!

LOL. I never even noticed the finger until Miss Grace pointed it out. That is how blonde I am.
SHHH! We girls need our secrets to staying beautiful and young and spiffy!!
Pumpkin is a strappin young man all of 2 years old. We got him at 4 inches long and bottle fed him for 9 weeks. He is definitely our baby boy.
Enjoying your blog daily!

This post brought me kitty memories and made me laugh too because my mom is the same way with photos. We also have photos with feet cut off and lots of ceiling, or tops of heads cut off but lots of ground. :-)
